She was only 15 minutes late. That's amazing! After all, she is the First Lady of the United States. She has a busy schedule. She was scheduled to speak to the Girl Up Leadership Summit at 11:15 a.m. And by 11:27ish she was in the house.
"You all look amazing," Michelle Obama told the 200-plus activists who represent some of the world's 1,000 Girl Up clubs. They'd come to Washington, D.C., to bond, to learn about girls' issues and to lobby Congress.
But she also made two subtle and important points about activism.
Point No. 1: Activism should be personal. "Start with whatever issue moves you here" she presses her hand to her heart, noting, "I want to tell you I'm passionate about the 62 million girls" who want to go to school but are unable to because of school fees or discrimination or the distance they'd have to travel.
Point No. 2: An activist who takes on a huge issue like girls' education could end up feeling "heartbroken, angry, overwhelmed." The key is to remember that you can't solve it all at once, Obama said. "We can approach this issue, one school, one village, one girl at a time. That's how you make change in this world."

Showing up for an interview or for work 15 minutes late is SO cool!
The Mooch really gets on my nerves.
Yeah baby!
Sorry. It had to be said.
Mooshell has never been late for a vacation.
I still can’t believe the New Yorker put that cartoon on the cover. Not that I disagree with it, I think it is highly accurate, but I always took the New Yorker as being a lib magazine. Did they know something we did not back then? That Democraps in all their idiocy put the enemy into the nations highest office which I think is beyond obvious today, especially after this deal with Iran.
BTW does anyone find it highly suspicious as I do that Obama capitulated to Cuba while Castro is still alive? Why not wait till the piece of pond scum is dead? The guy is 88, in poor health, he is knocking on hells door. Why give him a sense of victory? Because giving him a sense of victory was precisely Obamas intent.
I’m leaning toward.. “First Bitch”..
I know a college teacher who is now in mid-thirties. He grew up with but never outgrew the Muppets, Barney, Mr. Rogers, Bill Nye the Science Guy, and a sheltered life. Nice kid, loved church, puppies and kittens; never got into any trouble. He went off to the “brain factory” and fell for every whacko kookoo left wing “cause” you can imagine. He never made it with women, is still naïve as a freshman and white as a glass of white milk.
He is in love with Michelle. Thinks she is a goddess. I believe that the only thing that could provoke the peaceful gentle fellow into a physical altercation is by repeatedly insulting Michelle.
Don’t say nothing bad about my baby.
GOD DAMN!! Now that’s a rack!!
Be nice! She took time off from her busy luxury vacay schedule.
“Start with whatever issue moves you here”
How about moving those two buffoons out of the White House. Does that count?
The Ballad of the Fierce Looking Ammo Belt.
Or a meal, I’ll wager.
I suspect we’ll continue to get frequent doses of Mooch after Jan 2017. I can see her with a slot on the View, Blowprah, and PMSNBC.
Celebrity worship will be the downfall of us as a nation. Not only is everybody focusing all their attention on them, they want their leaders to “be” them.... cool, trendy, “with it”.

Their point was that “this is how the racist bitter clingers see our messiah”.
