This week a Democratic judge ordered Dinesh D’Souza to seek psychological counseling. Judge Richard Berman also ruled D’Souza must continue community service for four more years. World Net Daily reported:
At a hearing Monday in Manhattan in which he ruled filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza must continue community service for four more years, U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman said he considers D’Souza’s violation of federal campaign-finance laws to be evidence of a psychological problem and ordered further counseling.
D’Souza’s defense counsel Benjamin Brafman provided evidence to the court that the psychiatrist D’Souza was ordered to see found no indication of depression or reason for medication. In addition, the psychologist D’Souza subsequently consulted provided a written statement concluding there was no need to continue the consultation, because D’Souza was psychologically normal and well adjusted.
But Judge Berman, who was appointed by Bill Clinton, disagreed, effectively overruling the judgment of the two licensed psychological counselors the U.S. probation department had approved as part of D’Souza’s criminal sentence.

He was guilty of a minor abuse of campaign finance laws. They threw the book at him to try and shut him up.

It’s confusing. Is he required to attend more psychological counseling or community service or both? And is he being required to take medication?

Just read a children’s book about the cultural revolution in China called “Red Scarf Girl”. Truly frightening seeing how we are getting closer and closer to the communist way of intimidation. What can we do? I think we need to start workng on individuals one at a time. Start working on censure or impeachment hearings for this judge for example.
One thing I noticed in the book was that almost EVERYONE in China was very brainwashed and cowed by the state. Even those being persecuted still felt loyalty to the party as they believed it was for the greater good. No one dared to stand up or speak out. Thankfully We still have huge numbers who are willing to stand against the bullies. We need to keep standing and speaking.
Too bad someone can’t order the same treatment for the nutty “judge”.
Why didn’t the judge just send D’Souza to a re-education camp? Why hasn’t Obama set them up yet?
Where are representatives on our side calling for this judge to step down. Oh, that’s right....nevermind.
