Years ago, I talked to an elderly British couple about WWII, and the subject came up about Neville Chamberlain... the general feeling in England at the time was that Chamberlain’s appeasement of Hitler in 1938 bought some time for the Brits to arm up. They never trusted Hitler, but were woefully unprepared in the late 1930s to engage Germany in warfare. As such, the Brits believed Chamberlain to be an honorable man facing a very difficult task.
Obama, by contrast, just delights in f***ing America.
Perhaps if they had listened to Churchill in 1934, instead of ridiculing him, it wouldn’t have come to that.
