Despite a legal obligation to allow Congress to review the Iran nuclear agreement for 60 days, the Obama administration will press ahead with a U.N. Security Council resolution enshrining the deal, likely within days.

“We will be introducing a U.N. Security Council resolution perhaps as early as next week,” a senior administration official told reporters in a background conference call from Vienna, hours after the final agreement known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was announced.

The official said the resolution wording had already been drafted in Vienna, with the U.S. in the lead. …

Congress should vote no if they see this is a bad deal and then let Obama do his King thing and have that history all on the shoulders of the first black President.
IMO he is an embarrassment to his race.
What he has done in taking down America all over the world shows he was never fit for office. He help the bad people of many countries kill legions of people (probably getting him enviornmentist cred).

Having this unfit lying man in office who happens to be black was NOT an accomplishment for black people IMO.

“Congress should vote no if they see this is a bad deal “

The Senate already voted “YES” before the deal was negotiated!

They gave away their power to ratify a treaty (with a Constitutionally required 2/3 vote for approval) and turned it through legislation (of dubious Constitutionality) into a requirement for 2/3 vote to overturn a “no” vote that faces a Veto by Obama.

You don’t understand......Obama was always going to destroy America - he said so. That Congress has given away it’s power to stop him - and indeed the GOP lead the way - then it is not Obama who is at fault, it’s the GOP!!

Put it this way - is it the fires fault that you stuck your hand in it’s flames and got burned?

This has nothing to do with race. This has to do with ideology. Obama is a Communist, an Anti-Americanist, and a pro-islamist.

THis was known.

The GOP pre-capitulated on this Iran deal. We’ve unleashed a nuclear arms race amongst the entire middle east thanks to the GOP giving up it’s power, no, it’s OBLIGATION to review and consent to treaty’s like this.

So the GOP is the bigger problem. Obama is exactly what he said he would be.

He is all about race and is making black people look like idiots to the rest of the world.
He got himself involved in a ton of televised race cases and to my knowledge never responded the same way with non-black victims.
He IMO is a total racist as was the so called ease baiting anti-American church he went to.

You are correct. The GOP, particular Corker, McConnell and Boehner effectively, or actually, conspired with Obama to flip the approval process so that Obama would only ultimately need 34 Senate votes to sustain a Congressional veto of his Iran surrender. All of the speeches now, the denunciations, and the condemnation of what Obama has done should be pointed at themselves. Only Senator Cotton voted against the Iran bill that gave the Congressional power to Obama.

Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution, includes the Treaty Clause, which empowers the President of the United States to propose and chiefly negotiate agreements, which must be confirmed by the Senate, between the United States and other countries, which become treaties between the United States and other countries after the advice and consent of a supermajority of the United States Senate.
