On my very first try, this came up along with a magnificent image:
“Built in 1901, this 3-story historic structure was designed by Hartford architect Edward T. Hapgood in an elaborate expression of the Colonial Revival style and is the birth home of George W. Bush.
block-kahan.com”
My point was that Maraniss never claimed Cindy Pratt was his sole source of info. She was obviously a source, but I am unaware of Maraniss stating he had no other source/sources.
For a person who has not gone to HI to personally research the issue, you are certainly not shy in claiming to know more about it than Maraniss. I would imagine you are also a more successful biographer than he is?
I can tell you this. While the birth houses of other POTUSs are easy to locate online, there is no simular listing/photo for Obama’s birth house. Prior to Maraniss’ book and the other biographies people did assume it was the house listed on the BC. After that myth was exploded, no Obama birth house has been publicly identified.
“My point was that Maraniss never claimed Cindy Pratt was his sole source of info.”
And he lists no other sources anywhere and his sole claim is Cindy Pratt’s statement which unlike what you claimed is in the very same passage. But he does list Polk City Directory as a reference.
“block-kahan.com”?
Maybe when 6085 comes up for sale the realtor will list it as Obama’s birth home. That will make it official. LOL
Is there a plaque out front?
There is nothing in Maraniss book that explodes anything about the birth narrative of Obama. In fact from what little I’ve read of it he pretty much toes the line.
So once again the most you can show is that SAD put her parents house address down on the birth certificate. Wow
