That’s good news. I’d hate to think that he found Jesus and would wind up in heaven one day, so the fact that he is ritually worshiping Satan is a little bit comforting.

Your 'god' sounds like a "bad-news god" to me. It's evidently not the one that Ezekiel --- instructed by the Holy Spirit --- talks about when he says:
