That's Good? That's your idea of Good News? That the sinner dies in his sins and is damned?

Your 'god' sounds like a "bad-news god" to me. It's evidently not the one that Ezekiel --- instructed by the Holy Spirit --- talks about when he says:

Ezekiel 18:23
Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?

Ezekiel 18:32
For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!

Or as Paul said, instructed by Christ:

1 Tim. 2:4
"God wills that all men be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth."
