You're right. Often I'll post what I think is an exciting story, do a search and not finding it there, thinking it's not been online and then take the trouble to post it. Yes, there are times when I get to notice that it's already been posted in one of the columns and I'll be embarrassed by the lack of professionalism, sloppiness.

Look, I despise posting a duplicate post for the very reason I explained and nothing annoys me more than to have someone mention that it was already posted. The problem is I am very pressed for time, and seeing the article not having been posted before I will immediately try to get it on FR asap, not the least of which is that I've had articles posted 5 seconds before I did. So, I'l try to get it on line as quickly as possible.

So, to avoid this from ever happening, for everyone's benefit I pledge not only to check the search but will also quickly peruse down the columns to see if it has already been posted.

And if I lose a post because I took extra time to make sure it hasn't been posted yet, so be it.
