ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) All the high-profile violent crimes hitting the Albuquerque area may be helping gun sales. One local shop says theyve seen a major uptick in sales in whats usually the slowest time of the year and that they heard from a lot of people after the murder of Steven Gerecke.
Omni Arms near Central and Juan Tabo typically sells about 30 guns a week in the summer. The store manager says in the week after police say Gerecke was killed in his own driveway by six teens on a crime spree, they sold around 50 guns. And they say people who arent coming in and buying, are asking a lot more questions.

A couple of weeks ago, I think there was a murder a day for about a 10-day period, but they all run together, so I can't say for certain.
Chicago catches up on weekends
My son took his police firearms training in Albuquerque (he was a combat veteran of Iraq) and learned that all his instructors had at least one “kill” in the line of duty.
Alb is the crime shithole of New Mexico. The libs have destroyed a lot of that state.
Also, see the article about the Calif. police officer who was killed this morning by a possibly drug driver. I’m taking bets on “Mexican, illegal, convict, no driver’s license, no car insurance, Obama Iphone, EBT cards, welfare cards, and a “Get protection free” Sanctuary city card.
