Under Obama America is becoming a country without borders. And now it’s becoming a country without loyalty or commitment.

Barack Obama’s US Citizenship and Immigration Services on Tuesday announced they will no longer require new citizens to pledge to “bear arms on behalf of the United States.” It doesn’t fit with Obama’s vision of America. The Examiner reported:
US Citizenship and Immigration Services on Tuesday said it will no longer require incoming U.S. citizens to pledge that they will “bear arms on behalf of the United States” or “perform noncombatant service” in the Armed Forces as part of the naturalization process.
Those lines are in the Oath of Allegiance that people recite as they become U.S. citizens. But USCIS said people “may” be able to exclude those phrases for reasons related to religion or if they have a conscientious objection.
USCIS said people with certain religious training or with a “deeply held moral or ethical code” may not have to say the phrases as they are naturalized.
The agency said people don’t have to belong to a specific church or religion to use this exemption, and may attest to U.S. officials administering the oath that they have these beliefs.

Obama knows what it is like to have to move to a new country and take on responsibilities. So he decided that if you don’t like the new duties, get rid of them. Easy enough!!!
Not surprising, as many are coming over just to have a free lunch (and that sort of thing has also been taking place up here in Canada for many years, alas).
OK When is Congress going to stop this insanity ? Congress controls the money and they should start doing their frigging jobs and stop this madness today.
So Patriotic citizens should be able to skip the taxes and fund what their conscious tells them.

Will any of age have to register for the draft?
And how can this agency make such a change? One would think the citizenship oath is based on laws properly passed and not on what a particular administration prefers.
Not hearing any of our great Republican ‘leaders’ questioning this.

Completely unacceptable. The man who ordered this hates this country and is unfit to lead it. He is a disgrace to this country.

Look at history for your answer. Never. They're just going along for the ride. Folk lore tells us the same.
It took a young boy to say "the emperor has no clothes". It took Dorothy swept to the strange land of OZ to unmask the wizard. It took some very angry French people who didn't want to eat cake. It took some drunks in a Boston bar to throw the tea in the harbor rather than pay the tax. It took a dude in a Time Machine to tell the Eloi they didn't have to put up with it.
Whether it's the lessons of history or the wisdom of those who write stories with great lessons, the message is the same. If it's gotten out of control, the representatives who enabled it to happen aren't going to save anyone except themselves.
Not even Nazi Germany got those kind of kill numbers.
