Most of the theaters in this area usually have at least one police officer on site. I normally don’t go to movies at the Grand, much preferring the Celebrity in Broussard, but the times I have gone to the Grand, I’m pretty sure there was always an officer in the lobby.

A cop down there was being interviewed on CNN and said some of the victims may have been hit by police responding to the theater and trying to take the perp down.
