You really hate the po po, something tragic must have happened to you.

Yeah, I read the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution.

And I understood what they mean. Unlike you, sweetypie. :)

"May your chains sit lightly."

I understood that, too.

Good for you, so you would stand on the side of the road and escalate a traffic stop into your death because you know your rights.

I also learned that "revenge is a dish best served cold, and with a nail-studded baseball bat"...

But I still admire young Ms. Bland for playing some chin music for Officer Perp.

Good for your mom! I am sweet but not so young. I have been to many of those places. When did your family come to Texas and why did you leave?

Corpus NAS, early 1960s. Left after my father’s service at the NAS.

It's strange, but I still remember our address in Corpus.

It was kind of rhyming, so it rolls off the mind easily.

My parents retired (1980) and moved to Rockport, where my dads mom was born in about 1880 . When they started needing medical and hospital care I got pretty well acquainted with Corpus. Nice town.

She had been conditioned to act the way she did and there are many, many more out there like her, especially those that adopted the Moorish Science Temple Sovereign movement.

Be deliberately rude and disrespectful, get the officer on film acting unprofessional after listening to your abuse, then resist any attempts at arrest, make up injuries and ailments, and if opportunity provides itself, call friends up to film, obstruct or even resist your arrest.

Remember, it was these socialist retards that created an app that alerts other that you are being stopped by the police and to come assist. What used to be one officer conducting a traffic stop has the potential to tie up whole squads.

She was so ready to fight she didn’t even give the officer a chance to give her a warning.

How was he out of his jurisdiction?

Go ahead and quadruple down on being a slime who again "would do the same thing" as the perp. And again, as far as I am concerned believe that you based on "doing the same thing would also be calling that cop a MF'er a half dozen times, while the cop was well within his scope of authoriy

Keep digging, you are making quite a reputation for yourself here,

Comments like yours are commonplace at du. You seem to fit in real well over there.

He wasn't. That is just one of the first arguments these LEO bashers lost.

She rolled the stop sign at the marked crosswalk, and failed to signal her turn. He did not say she failed to signal a lane change, he said she failed to signal.

How the heck do you know what gets you a ticket RIGHT NOW?
That would presume that officer has no discretion on what offense he writes.

There is no such thing as a warning “ticket”, no is there really a “ticket”, it’s called a citation or summons.

Thanks, I knew I wasn’t going crazy. I mean, if I remember correctly she rolled the stop at a school marked crosswalk, which is where she originally failed to signal her turn, and right in front of a marked police vehicle.

A white guy I know got stopped in California by a black CHP cop for crossing a solid white line. He definitely did it, and it was definitely a violation.

He got out his ID/License, and the cop saw his NRA membership card. The cop immediately said “Mr. X, you realize what you did, right? You won’t do it again, right? There’s really no point in my giving you a ticket since you’ve learned your lesson, right?”.

$271 saved.

If jurisdiction was an issue I could have challenged that ticket that TX DPS state trooper gave me in a residential neighborhood.

The thing I hate about TX DPS troopers they are so nice and professional, you almost feel good after a ticket.

On the other hand, I have gotten tickets from small town cops who had attitude, but like 99.9999% of the rest of the population you know better than to be disrespectful.

How was he out of his jurisdiction?

I've lived in a few college towns, and the other branches of LE stay well clear of the campus environs, unless asked in by the campus police.

With a 21-person campus police force, and the small-town nature of Prairie View (watch the video, and then look at the area with Google street view), his services were NOT needed on campus.

Strictly speaking, the campus is in his jurisdiction as a Texas state trooper - but it's not. Professional courtesy, and all that.

If you're LE, then you know what I'm talking about. :)

I imagine that the campus police are relieved to have that one gone, suspended, and probably riding a desk, if he gets back in.

BTW - if you view the full video, you'll see where the officer broke the posted speed limit in his haste to get on Bland's tail pipe, and force a driving error from her.

He wasn't, but he was.

Anyone who operates in a professional environment knows the territorial dangers of what Officer Perp was doing.

Argument NOT lost. :)
