A black woman found dead in a Texas jail days after she was arrested following a traffic stop will be buried on Saturday in a Chicago suburb as investigators gather more details about the circumstances of her incarceration and death.

The funeral for Sandra Bland, 28, will be held at DuPage African Methodist Episcopal Church in Lisle, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, followed by burial in a nearby cemetery.

From this: Bland was a nice girl according to the mainstream media. A victim of white oppression, she had become a civil rights activist in Chicago, and a part of the Black Lives Matter campaign. She had had at least ten previous encounters with police in Illinois and Texas, and owed $7,579 in fines. She was unfairly arrested after allegedly kicking a white Hispanic trooper during a routine traffic stop. Distraught and emotional over the incident, she committed suicide.

How many White House officials will attend?

I was thinking about the same thing. I wonder if even The One himself will interrupt his Kenyan homecoming to attend and give another “American Idol” performance like he did in Charleston.

What kind of white oppression, I wonder.

“off hand, it looks like she smuggled more pot into the jail than she could ingest in one dose” said the officer. “she felt death in her cell was the only solution”

I takes a real nitwit to escalate a routine traffic stop for changing lanes without signaling into an arrest for assaulting an officer and resisting arrest. All she had to do was be polite and she could have probably gotten off with a warning. The trouble with “Black Lives Matter” is its real name ought to be “Black Criminals’ Lives Matter”, since all of its poster children have been criminals, including two attempted murderers, and all would have survived if they had simply complied with legitimate police orders or not tried to murder somebody.

If you want to read some scary stuff, go monitor #JusticeForSandraBland for a while. This mentality is what the country is up against. When you see the anger and, yes lies, manifested in this thread, Baltimore and Ferguson start to make sense. Twitter is not a hotbed of intellectual discourse, the average IQ of the posters on that thread must be in single digits. But when you see how easily they can be led, it is frightening. Well-placed troll comments can lead this mindless herd anywhere!

I must confess that was not my first thought upon reading this. My first thought was, how many Westboro Baptists would attend--though I think I know the answer. (None.)

There are a lot of really stupid people in the world.

Just yesterday on Twitter Sheriff David Clarke said that people shouldn’t try to argue their case on the side of the road. Some moron responded that he took his case to court and still lost. Apparently the moron didn’t notice that he wasn’t dead or in jail.

About four years ago I had an experience with a local cop that shows how a little politeness on each side can be very helpful, especially for someone who has been pulled over. He stopped me for speeding, changing lanes without signaling, and for not having a current insurance card. Since I was legally carrying, I immediately informed him and presented my CCW permit. That changed everything. He immediately became friendly and said he also had a permit. Then he dropped the changing lanes improperly count, reduced the speeding count to where it would only be a local matter that would not get on the radar for my insurance, and instructed me to provide of my current insurance card with my payment of the ticket. All in all, we were nearly friends after the encounter. If that nitwit woman had been in my position, the whole thing might have escalated into a brutal shooting match.

I had a cop cut me a major break on a ticket we both knew I had coming. I passed him at 85 mph in a 55 zone but he wrote it up for 74 to keep it less than a criminal matter.

I bought a new car during the winter and finally got a clear dry road some weeks later so I opened it up at 5 AM on my way to work. Its exactly what I told the cop and he understood.

If you view the whole video, it appears as though the Texas state trooper was trolling on a college campus for college girls.

He didn't like it when she didn't respect his AUTHORITAY.

He got suspended by his bosses, who probably saw the same thing I saw in the video.

The 0bama crime family and the Department of "Just-Us" have given these thugs a sense of entitlement and empowerment to try to get away with anything, anywhere.

She felt and acted like she was superior to the cop, real arrogance.

Blacks for many generation , have been taught from a young age that “whitey ain’t gonna let you be nuthin, or do nuthin”.

I heard those exact words from a good black friend who has now passed.
So there is nothing left but crime and violence.

How some like Ben Carson have been able to succede is really amazing.

Irrelevant. She was pulled over for failing to signal a lane change. The officer escalated the situation repeatedly, resulting in an arrest... over a lack of a turn signal. Within a day, she was dead. I don't care about her past. I don't care about the color of the skin of those involved. The stop was petty. The arrest was incompetent and unjust. Her death was unconscionable. I do not know the cause of her death, but it seems very unlikely that she killed herself, which means the police are lying and covering up a murder. I doubt I would have liked Sandra or her politics... but in this case, her past and her personality are irrelevant. I believe the police in this instance were incompetent, and likely criminal.

And for that, she deserves to be arrested? And for that, she deserves to be dead within a day? Talk about arrogance and superiority!
