A Texas state trooper appears to be out of his jurisdiction, trolling for college girls, with "warnings".
The first minute and a half of the full video will make you throw up in your mouth a little.
She caught his eye because she ran a stop sign. This story has been on our local Houston news 24/7 since it happened. He was polite when he first asked her to get out of the car, she refused and to me, she sounded under the influence. It escalated from there.
You don’t argue with a cop unless you are trying to get yourself arrested.
Are we watching the same film? Considering the incredible disgusting outburst by the woman, I thought the officer showed significant restraint. I live in Texas, and have been pulled over a couple times in TX for speeding by State Troopers, but have found them nothing but professional.
I watched the entire video. There is absolutely nothing to indicate the cop was “trolling for college girls.” Now on the other hand, I did see immediate attitude from Bland and the cop did also, which he why he felt he should ask probing questions as to her demeanor. Was she drunk, high, having a seizure, could she safely drive? Let’s say he turned her loose and several miles later she is in an accident killing herself or others. Be assured, he would STILL have been placed on desk duty for allowing a person with diminished driving skills, that he should have been able to evaluate when he stopped her, that he was negligent for not noticing signs something was wrong with her.
If I am stopped and I immediately become aggressive with the cop and it continues to escalate, I know I am going to be hauled out of the vehicle. Normal people just don’t go nuclear and start a war over a traffic stop.

Then why did he tell her he pulled her over for failure to signal a lane change?
Running a stop sign gets you a ticket right now.
Perhaps that didn't fit in with his "warning ticket" strategy...

She called him on his BS. I'm beginning to kind of admire her, but I'm a little disappointed that she didn't put her cigarette out in his eye.

So where was the cop disgusting? Or maybe was it when the perp kept calling the cop a MF’er.

Yeah, the trooper has been suspended because of his "professionalism", and the Waller County DA is trash-talking him, and looking for possible criminal charges...
BS... Double BS. TX state law allows Texas DPS to issue anywhere where lawlessness is observed, I though the cop was incredibly friendly until the wench incited him with insults and disrespect. He showed a lot more restraint than i would,
Lots of cell phones are capable of good-quality video. Many of our Blue & Brown Masters have been stung by such things, lately.

If he is, that film sure won't be incriminatiing. I can't attest for the 99.9999% of his work ethics, but he sure didn't do anything wrong on that stop. She had it coming,
The gal was a loose cannon, sadly she proved this in her final action. Her family knew plenty about her history and that is why no one bailed her out of jail. It was just another episode to them.......which incidentally is why she killed herself.
Oh, so you deny that he was in the jurisdiction of the college police force?
He was passing out warning tickets, one to the first young woman, and then to the second young woman, Ms. Bland.
He was chatting both the young women up: "Are you all right?"
It's none of your business, officer - unless the person in question is having a medical emergency.
