Although polygamy is illegal in the United States, it is apparently acceptable in Michigan, as an informative video explains how Muslim men are able to claim up to four wives as dependents while on welfare. (H/T The Conservative Citizen)

Its not legal to claim extra wives. Its a basic welfare scam of claiming extra dependents.

I wish people would do some actual research instead of trying to stir crap up. Despite FReeper “consensus” Dearborn is not mostly muslim. There is a large concentration of muslims there but its still about 60/40 Christian with middle eastern Christians making up the bulk.

You’re right that Dearborn is not majority Muslim. But isn’t 40% enough to cause real trouble with the supposed majority & is there any other city in America with that large of a Muslim “minority”?

Unless it’s that the middle eastern Christians in Dearborn are themselves refugees from Islamic persecution & aren’t taking any cr@p from the muzzies in their surroundings.

Far from it. Its actually one of the safest suburbs of Detroit with a crime rate that matches the national average which is pretty low for an urban area. Gotta figure, Ford HQ is there as well as the headquarters of Visteon and Lear corporations so there are a lot of middle and upper management types living there.

When it comes to muslim influence in Dearborn. Things like the big mosque are largely funded from outside. A former schoolmate of mine works for the FBI in Detroit and says that Dearborn has the most closely monitored muslim community in the world and that people should be a lot more concerned about places like Minnesota and Virginia.

IIRC, there have been Arabs of either religion in Dearborn since the 1920’s when they were brought in by Henry Ford.

Muslims in Dearborn are therefore long established and are the nearest thing to “assimilated” here.

You’re right, Somalis in Minnesota are wildly unregulated, dangerous, and from them come the highest number of ISIS participants in America. They’re even found in Idaho.

Here in Tennessee we also have a Muslim problem, starting with the Murfreesboro mega mosque. One jihadi website promises to stretch Shariah rule “From Tennessee to Teheran”.

My friend tells me that 90% of the people who come from the mideast pass through Dearborn on their way to somewhere else. It makes an ideal place for monitoring because they have so many middle easterners working for them.

Personally I worry a lot more about the rural muslim populations popping up all over the country. For instance, Coldwater Michigan literally was Amish country but has a growing muslim community because of the prison there.
