Donald Trump just showed why his campaign may be doomed

For the past six weeks, an overarching concern for the Republican Party has been the impact that Donald Trump might have on the GOP primary election — particularly the damage he could do on the debate stage by turning an already unmanageable 10-candidate forum into a full-on circus.

On Sunday, though, Trump himself gave one of the clearest examples yet of why his candidacy is doomed to fail, and why, if handled properly, the debate stage could be his Waterloo.

Trump called in to CNN's State of the Union on Sunday morning to speak with host Jake Tapper.

Much of the appearance was, in fact, more of a Trumpian soliloquy, which appears to be his favorite form of expression, than an interview. When Tapper was eventually able to interrupt him and press for some policy specifics, however, the cracks in Trump's façade quickly became evident.

Don’t get me wrong; I am not a Trump supporter or apologist. The message he is articulating is that the people are PO. Whatever his messages were in the past were, that has no bearing on TODAY’s message.

What politician outlines HOW he will accomplish what he promises? None, they all talk at 30,000 feet. If it is pandering, then let’s eliminate all candidates and vote “None of the above” or write-in.

The destruction of the GOP is going create a void that the Democrats will fill, not one rich, Johnny-come-lately conservative billionaire on an ego trip.

You must be a Karl Rope/Jeb Bush operative -- not too bright.

If you have reading comprehension skills you will notice that I typed GOPe, not GOP.

Once the Statist elites of the GOP are politically destroyed the GOP can be once again strong with Constitutional Conservative leaders.

If the arrogant types like Bush, Karl, Christie, etc were HONEST they would move to the party of their evil principles -- then RAT party.
