Hopefully, he won’t be another Perot handing an election over to another Clinton on a silver platter.

What will hand the election over to Hillary is if the Republicans nominate Jeb. Hillary won't need any help from Trump.

Nobody wants a beta male as president. The last 2 elections were a choice among betas. Given that choice, the women will vote womyns issues. Given a choice of an alpha, they’ll vote the alpha every time, regardless of issues. Most women need to be told what to think, not be asked what is their opinion. That’s where Romeny screwed up. He alphaed Baraq into the ground on the first debate, took the lead, then backed off.

I agree that Trump’s appeal is primarily limited to low information voters.

As with BHO, the more information you have about DT, the less likely you would be inclined to vote for him.

I see Trump as a tool, to shake things up, like a Cloward-Piven strategy to tear down the current Order. I don’t want Trump necessarily be President, but I like him as a battering ram to take down the GOP establishment.

Romney had poor advisors.

A good candidate doesn’t need advisors.....Did Reagan need advisors?

Did you read it? I have no desperation; He wrote the book, you are the one with desperation to cover up the man’s own words.

Actually, I think DT helps Jeb, at least right now.

I think DT is drawing more conservative voters away from someone who might be inclined to vote for someone like Ted Cruz or Scott Walker in the primary. He certainly appeals to those whose big issue is illegal immigration. I live in CA, so illegal immigration has always been a big issue with me. I just don’t think Trump is the answer.

Getting back to Jeb. I think DT helps him right now. Jeb will look calm, cool, and collected. He’ll scare GOP primary voters, hey do you want that loose cannon over there leading our Party?

Responsible conservative voters should coalesce around a responsible conservative candidate with a reliable track record. I would not want my choice to come down to Trump versus Bush. Since I live in CA, our primary is one of the last, in June. The nomination will probably be decided before I even vote.

I am amused by a person who refers to others as low information, when Trump has been delivering speeches, interviews, and statements that reveal he understands Conservatism as well or better than you do, and yet you haven’t had the nads to admit it.

Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, some of the others running right now, are not Conservatives, and yet they claim to be. They’re faking it. They don’t have the fire in the belly Conservatism. You can tell they’re faking it.

Trump isn’t. If you’d listen to him, you’d realize he’s isn’t presenting a superficial version of Conservatism. He goes beyond that to address details that Bush and Rubio don’t even know exist.

Talking about Common Core and trashing it, Trump reminds people that education should be local. Do you think Bush, Rubio, and a number of the other self-proclaimed Conservatives get that? Heck no they don’t.

He’s done this on issue after issue, and you while trashing others for being low information, haven’t taken the time to tap the information that is out there right now on Trump.

Listen to his presentations. He’s talking to you, and you’re not listening.

Until you do listen, stop calling others low information this or that. You’re looking rather dim-witted.

I think Trump will crash and burn, then what? You think that support is going to go to Jeb?

I think that the voters who liked what Trump is saying will realize that Cruz is the one who is closest Trump.

I don't care what his actual positions are.

So how do you know if he'd be a good or bad president?

If (when, actually) DT crashes and burns, I think his support will go to conservatives, especially Ted Cruz.

Then why does he give money to the Clintons and their Foundation?

He says it was because he had business interests in New York and he wanted to expedite the process when having to deal with city hall and the like.

He also donated a lot of money to Republicans. If he was a devout Leftist, ask yourself why he did that.

How many Leftist do you know that are members of the NRA?

How many of them are doing favorable interviews with entities supporting gun rights?

Yes, but HRC never served in NYC municipal government.

Why would he need to give money to the Clintons to get a building permit or something like that?

No, that's Jeb Bush's job.

And a good number of people who voted for Reagan didn’t necessarily agree with him on the issues, but they saw the Man’s character and saw that he could Lead.

Reagan also had a plaque on his desk that said something to the effect that it was amazing what you can accomplish when you don't care who gets the credit for it. Can you imagine that in Trump's office?

I could. Remember a lot of what you see from Donald is an act, for his public persona. It sells books, but I believe when he’s doing private business, he doesn’t show that persona.
