Stocks fluctuate.

DIS has had a big run up.

Natural for profit taking.

No market goes straight up without a periodic correction.

Long term I think it’s OK.

Hope you are right.

My Mutual fund as both Apple and Disney in it.

A drop means I can get more pieces of the fund.

Disney will continue to do okay because the big driver of their profits is now their IMMENSE profits from their movies. The Marvel movies are turning into big moneymakers, and everyone knows that if J. J. Abrams delivers on Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, Disney could add well over US$1 billion to their profit margin.

Disney just paid its dividend. This happens. The dividend was captured and stocks were sold. Verizon and Disney are in a pissing match too. The market also wants ESPN unbundled and sold directly. (from rocket scientists who don’t know anything other than ratings and churning)

People also forget, most animation is now done overseas and on computers. There is no paint on cell animation anymore. They also forget Disney moved beyond California when the unions burned him and he learned his lesson.

in 2008 when Disney was at 20 it was all gloom and doom. It is not like they put out the iwatch.
