Boehner’s speech happened just before an illegal alien killed an American woman in San Francisco, shocking the nation.

“The speaker of the US House of Representatives Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)35% has told a Dublin audience of his determination to overcome Republican resistance to immigration reform,” Arthur Beesley wrote from Dublin, Ireland, for the Irish Times:

I don't know if this has been posted here before, but it seems to be a major story that got lost in all the other news of the past week.

Boner has pledged to make comprehensive amnesty a top priority. He plans to find ways to overcome those Republicans who've been opposing amnesty in the House. This is definitely something to watch for.

This fits perfectly into what I've long believed about Boner and McConnell and those who keep them in power; they just want to get rid of the troublesome issues. They were glad SCOTUS upheld Obamacare again, and aren't too bothered that same sex marriage was legalized. And now they want the most troublesome issue of all out of the way.

"It's too hard", as Boner said months ago. But what he really meant was it's too hard for spineless Republicans to have to deal with the amnesty issue session after session and they just want to pass it and get rid of the issue.

Here we go again on amnesty.

Boehner Is Speaker Of The House Who LOVES To Do As DemocRATS Want

“The speaker of the US House of Representatives John Boehner has told a Dublin audience of his determination to overcome Republican resistance to immigration reform,” Arthur Beesley wrote from Dublin, Ireland, for the Irish Times:

Mr Boehner also told how Taoiseach Enda Kenny has harangued him on the matter, telling him how the lack of reform has left some Irish immigrants listening to a parent’s funeral by phone. His remarks indicate he may yet move to confront opponents of reform within his own Republican party, which is in the vanguard of resistance to it and has a majority in the House.

Imitating Mr Kenny, Mr Boehner said he was seated at lunch between the Taoiseach and President Obama. The Taoiseach says: “John, John, John.” He says: “How’s immigration reform coming?” Mr Boehner replied: “What the hell do you care about immigration reform?” Mr Kenny: “Oh John, John. You don’t realise there are about 50k of my fellow Irishmen came to the US and never quite made it back across the pond. You know their cousins have got to hold up the cell phone at their parents’ funeral so their kids in Chicago or Detroit or wherever can listen to the funeral. John, John this is a serious problem.” Last Thursday when they met, Mr Kenny’s message was concise. “The Taoiseach said: ‘I think you understand, just get it done’.”

Boehner spokesman Kevin Smith told Breitbart News earlier on Monday, after the Irish Times piece, that the Speaker remains committed to reform. (Click For More)

How did I miss this great Boner thread? We definitely need to keep any eye on him as soon as they return from the August recess. Of course, he has that bothersome action by Congressman Meadows to deal with at some point. Pretty funny, and encouraging, that they couldn’t rustle up the votes to reaffirm him as Speaker last week.

Maybe Trump has stirred up the illegal alien/amnesty issue so much that those in Congress won’t dare bring it up again before the next national election, but they still need to be watched like a hawk.
