they certainly would not be the kinds of things that I would engage in That is a good answer from Carson. He didn't condemn Trump and he didn't let himself get pulled into the specifics.
I really wish our candidates would confront the press on why they are being asked to comment on another politician's comments. The Democrats are never asked to comment on another Democrat's comments.
