Hopefully this won't get turned into another Mike Brown case. Based on the story, this seems to be about as righteous a defensive shooting as it gets. The carjacking suspect rammed a police car, tried to hit another officer, and had a handgun in his hands when he fell out of the car after being shot.
One could make the snarky comment of how a 15 year old got his hand on a handgun when that's illegal in most states, but I think I'll just be thankful the officers involved are alive and going home to their families tonight.

Sounds like the Son-of-Barack perp was acting stupidly.

...he had a troubled past...
However, his future is smooth sailing. He is finally turned around.

A 15 year old out past 11 pm, carrying a gun and ramming police with a stolen car?
"But he was such a good little boy!"

Uh, “Good Persons” don’t tend to end up in car-jacked vehicles.
