Germanys second-largest police union on Tuesday called for the reintroduction of internal European border controls and demanded more personnel to deal with a record flood of refugees.
From a policing point of view, a return to border controls would be the best of all measures, said Rainer Wendt, chairman of the German Police Union (DpolG), in a newspaper interview.

Even the Germans understand what the end result of massive immigration will be and they probably don’t provide near the freedbies to them like the U.S. does. I wonder if they’re primarily concerned about the Muzzie invasion which seem to be infesting countries across the world right now. I’m guessing multiple caliphates will be declared in these countries after they reach critical mass in order to cause the rise of the Mahdi.
The mans has a point; if there is one thing the Germans are good at, it is boarder control.

Gotta know who’s coming into your country, people.

I recognise the phrase but it is wrong anyway: They are not refugees if they cross the German - Austrian border. No one is persecuting them in Austria. They seek a better life and Germany (together with Sweden) has been the most generous to offer them to stay so they try to get to Germany first and seek asylum there.
This could have been avoided by having the same criteria for allowing asylum in all EU countries and enforcing the Dublin convention, which states that they should seek asylum in the first EU country they enter.
“Welcome to the Party, Pal!”

True - if you want to rent a room in Germany you better have your papers in order. Now, the borders on the other hand are wide open for all invaders...
;-)
DPolG seems to be the more conservative union but has only roughly half the membership of the larger, liberal-leaning GDP union. Surprisingly*, DPolG is excoriated on Wikipedia.de for its positions, while the GDP gathers no criticism at all...
