A new report released by the National Security Network argues that the F-35 is ultimately inferior relative to foreign fighters and even older aircraft models in the U.S. arsenal.
As the most expensive weapons program in Pentagon history, at an estimated cost of $1.4 trillion, the F-35 has attracted a significant amount of both praise and negative attention. Gen. Joseph Dunford recently stated that while hell consider reviewing the total number of F-35s that the DOD is planning to purchase, the overall program will be left intact, dimming the hopes of some critics who think that the program should be scrapped.
But the evidence against the F-35 continues to pile up. This latest report by researchers Bill French and Daniel Edgren finds that the aircraft is lacking in terms of maneuverability, payload range and stealth, meaning that the the F-35 is more likely to find itself outmaneuvered, outgunned, out of range, and visible to enemy sensors in contingencies against near-pear militaries.
The F-35, according to French, fails to match the Russian aircraft MiG-29 Fulcrum and Su-27 Flanker. First, the F-35 is inferior on wing loading. Second, it features lower maximum speeds. In a simulation conducted by the RAND Corporation, more than two F-35s were downed for every Chinese-made Su-35 taken out.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
It was inserted into the NAVY precisely because
it cannot reach a Silkworm which threatens the
carrier group.
So what were the relative contributions of its imposition
by al Qaeda, Iran and the White Mosque?
Leave it to Congress to turn a thoroughbred into a camel.

No bias there.
http://nsnetwork.org/gen-paul-eaton-praises-senate-for-stripping-f-22-from-defense-authorization/
In stripping $1.75 billion in funds to build seven more F-22 Raptors from the Defense Authorization bill, the Senate has brought our military spending one step closer to matching Americas military priorities for the 21st century. The Cold War relic was a symbol of the outdated, unnecessary, and expensive weapon systems that have burdened our defense budgets for far too long. The F-22 fleet as projected, will, with existing fighter aircraft and the F-35 program, maintain the air supremacy our ground forces have benefited from since the Korean War.
Misplaced defense budget priorities such as additional funding for the F-22 both constrained Americas military from adequately addressing the threats we face today and took money away from more essential strategic imperatives. President Obama and Secretary Gates have admirably advocated a Defense Budget that moves away from this dilemma.
I applaud the Senate action rejecting the F-22 funding and bringing the legislation more in line with the priorities of the President and the Pentagon. For the sake of Americas security and military priorities, I hope this is reflected in the final version of the legislation when it heads to the White House for Obamas signature.

NSNs convening power promotes progressive national security solutions through advocacy and communications efforts. Weaving together policy, politics, messaging, and Hill engagement and education, we work with experts and activists, candidates and elected officials to connect decision-makers and opinion leaders with pragmatic and principled foreign policy options.
It's a liberal think tank. Reference some of the favorite liberal code words (my underlining) for weakening defense.
The National Security Network (NSN) is a non-profit foreign policy organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., United States, that focuses on international relations, global affairs and national security. Characterizing itself as "progressive," the NSN's mission statement asserts the group aims to "build a strong progressive national security and counter conservative spin."
The B-52 lives on. Why not the A-10 and F-15 and such?
all left wingers, none of whom ever flew a fighter.
Also, many of the lies published to YouTube about the F-35 are of Russian origin. They often come from usernames that appear to be official and associated with U.S. defense.

I’ve complained about the inferiority of this boondoggle for years. To have built it instead of more upgraded current aircraft and the F-22 that are superior is treason and people should be shot.
So they were for it before they were against it?
How typical of leftists...
Sabotage one program (F22)with promises of the future (F35) and when the future arrives, sabotage that one.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
I think DOD would say it isn’t fair to compare F-35 to other aircraft. If you compare it’s climb rate to other things that cost $1.5 trillion like the country of Austria or google + exxon + apple you’ll see the F-35 is the best.
My SIL works on the F-35.
He’s been really busy lately. Well it’s a good living for the worker bees.
The F-22 is an older design, and it’s much more promiscuous than the F-35.
The F22 was the most advanced air superiority fighter ever made. It still is. So of course obama canceled it.
The F35 is a boondoggle of kickbacks, design by committee, and waste. So of course Obama, the donks, and the GOPe keep funding it.
A proper air combat doctrine: Build more F22s so they can clear the skies and take out the ground to air and command infrastructure of an enemy. The send in the flying busses that carry a LOT of bombs (i.e., build more B52s).
This multi-role thing? JUST PLAIN STUPID. Or rather just very lucrative for the establishment (obama, donks, and GOPe).
The F-35 exemplifies the U.N. NWO Cabal take down of America. Scrap the F-35 and build scores of newly modded F/A-18x’s!!! The best fighter jet of all time!!! How many HUNDREDS of F/A-18’s could we have built for the cost of the F-35 R&D and fleet?
Yup
