Those of us who with some justice can be accused of obsessing over The Frankfurt School and Saul Alinsky take particular alarm at this tactic in which wholesome campaigning is disrupted with the malicious intent of simply achieving disruption.

One is reminded of the battles in the streets of Germany in the 1920s and early 30s in which the Communists battled Hitler's brownshirts. The slide to the lowest common denominator under those circumstances is inevitable.

It is up to our court system to devise a rationale to eliminate disruption for its own sake and yet preserve the right to free speech. Seems to me there is a difference between someone demanding to speak out at a Board of Education hearing and someone trying to seize the microphone at a political campaign event. In the latter example the disruptors are hoping that they will be physically restrained and that all of this will occur on camera. They will then scream "brownshirts" or the modern equivalent.

Their object is to end the debates, to disrupt for its own sake. This is in keeping with the formulas of The Frankfurt School and Saul Alinsky which are to drive the system under so it can be replaced with their vision-which certainly would never permit disruption.

The modern term is “racist”.

Overall good posting, NB.

The "slide", as you call it, is increasingly evident. I would not expect it to decline until Inauguration Day, January 20, 2017.

This administration will do anything and everything to insure that it is not replaced by a counter-administration that will reverse its actions and achievements.

They will not be stopped by existing law in this regard.

As we well know, the Congress cannot be counted upon to resist any lawbreaking, either.

The next 17 months will be the most dangerous in the Republic's history. Our established political process will be under constant attack.
