No one trust the government, or anyone in the government, or either political party, or anyone in the political parties anymore.
Loss of trust is generally the result of lying 100% of the time about every single thing.
Maybe The Donald is telling the truth, maybe he isn’t, but people seem to be willing to trust him more than a pack of known serial liars.
I had another thought to add to yours. We’ve endured decades of political correctness. Trump is imperfect and doesn’t hide it. Trump gives us permission to be politically incorrect and imperfect and proud of it.
Why should we trust Trump?
Why vote at all for anyone?
IOW, if the politicals can’t be trusted because of their flip-flops and pandering, why vote for Trump?
