From what I have read, at least some of the parts are interchangeable with the Browning HP.
I just finished reading up on it.
Apparently made by FEG in Hungary. That is a very old company who has been turning out handguns since the early 20th century.
I actually once had one. It was pretty well made and finished. Not quite up to the Belgian made ones but not bad either.
I think all the parts are more or less interchangeable with other Brownings.
