I was more talking about how he was perceived, rather than who he really was. King did not talk about killing cops, or even preferences for blacks...regardless of his personal life.

Tried to watch but the video was cut off early in the discussions. If Sheriff Clark took a stand, I would believe what he as to say, he is definitely a good law enforcement officer and a decent person who says what he thinks. This nation needs thousands more like him.

I understand what you are saying that in public he advocated peace and equality which of course I, and I assume you, agree with however behind the scenes he was a die hard communist. He used his cover to spread communism and to afford his affairs. He had an appetite for married white women.
I am concerned that history again will be re-written and he will only be known as a saint. Just so we are clear you cannot be a communist and a Christian.
