The Kentucky legislature is right on the money. There needs to be a new law to replace the law that was struck down.

One of the biggest unmentioned issues here is that while the KY Senate is dominated by Republicans, the House and Executive Branch offices are held by Democrats. Who are making a little bit of noise but otherwise trying to keep as far away from this as possible.
Certainly not using the powers they do have to go after her. The AG can haul her up on criminal misconduct charges for instance. Except he knows he’ll never be elected Governor if he does.
The ostrich-playing if the Democrats here should be just as big an issue as the refusal to issue licenses.
