Instead of fumbling through an answer, hoping he might get it right, instead of the bluster, he should just get to his ‘I don’t know, but my advisors are bringing me up to speed on a wide range of topics, of which this is one’ right away, instead of blasting the questioner.
It’s not Hewitt’s fault that Trump does not yet know the players. Remember, Trump has told us how tough he will be on the terrorists, so it’s reasonable (IMO) that he be questioned about it.
But that is the opinion of someone who is not a fan of Trump.
Correct me if I am wrong. But, aren't the candidates brought up-to-date on security matters only after they are the finalists for the Presidency in the general election and not before?
This is what comes with the territory of someone who isn’t a typical politician. I would advise Trump to get some people on his team who can ramp him up on these things.
reading the replies on this thread, with excuse after excuse and things that hint at: “but Obama did it!”, I would say your response is written by “one who has not consumed the Trump kool-aid”
While I appreciate the issues that he has vociferously brought forth to this campaign, the man has as much business being President of the United States as my dog. Sorry folks, but being a fighter is not enough, not nearly enough. It is important and something that has been lacking in our candidates and is SEVERELY lacking in ANY of the GOPe, but when a candidate erratically lashes out at ANYONE who dares question him, that is a huge cause for concern. (HINT: its the same thing that Obama does...its just that THIS guy occasionally spouts stuff we like).
