If Trump is the only way to stop the Cheap Labor Express because both parties are conspiring against the people, then it seems like a reasonable thing to accept that he may not be philosophically conservative, but he is philosophically American.
We have to have a President who will enforce the borders and laws.
I’m a Trump fan. I recall when he first announced his wanting to stop illegal immigration, and I was listening to Rush at the time.
I also recall for the last several years, while going out to let’s say the shopping mall, Walmart, whatever and the multitudes of Mexicans that cannot speak English. These people taking jobs a penny on the dollar while there is a huge unemployment problem among the genuine citizens. It’s got to stop.
All the while our politicians, obviously yours, are doing everything possible to bring more illegals in for cheap labor.
So yes, I’m stupid in your eyes for wanting Make America Great Again, as this illegal immigrant thing will surely bring America down.

What the hell is a “conservative” anymore? Just an over used meaningless cliche reserved for wonky nerdy political junkies, IMO. Just another way for simplistic minds to put things in nice little boxes.
I will no longer use the outdated term to describe myself. Instead, I will call myself an “ABAD” (Anything But a Democrat). Or maybe, “TRBA” (Traditional Red Blooded American).
I would prefer that Trump describe himself that way, rather than becoming loyal to republicans or trying to please ideological rigid conservatives. But I refuse to reject Trump based on someones “conservative” litmus test.
Well, they where stupid enough to go along with the GOPe on Bush I and II, Dole, McCain and Romney. So stupid is as stupid does.
I would love to see Cruz as the nominee. At this point it is highly unlikely. I have NO problem with Trump if he builds the wall and repeals the 1965 immigration act and replaces it with a more native friendly program. With all his many faults, a strong border and a reasonable tax system will solve many pf out most pressing concerns.
Without immigration reform, real reform not the crap the establishment wants, we are doomed as a representative Republic. We will become Argentina at best and maybe even Venezuela.
The reason is that in every corner of this country, we are infested with low class, uneducated, illiterate illegal and LEGAL invading hoards.
I live in Cleveland, OH. An area of low growth and economic stagnation for several decades. Yet a trip to the local Walmart or grocery has one entering an area that more often resembles an Arab bazaar or a Rio Favela than a Mid Western city.
We stand behind smelly immigrants, a majority of whom know only enough English to navigate themselves to the local Welfare office for an EBT card and housing voucher.
We then attempt to better our employment only to find that foreigners are in most jobs, even in government jobs leaving us to fend for the scraps. Add further the fact that a large percentage of the housing in your neighborhood, even in the high end exurbs is being bought by foreigners and partitioned into illegal apartments with upwards of twenty or more people living in a single family home and not exactly concerned about the upkeep or the property value.
This in a city that is not exactly a boom town.
Multiply that by several million other people with similar experiences in thousands of other towns and cities while simultaneously hearing leaders from both parties saying to get used to it because these illegal hoards are better people that YOU and a tidal wave of understandable resentment brings a huge victory to Trump.

Yeah, look at how smart we conservatives have been since 1984...every single nominee was a pure conservative, and they all got elec...oh, wait, uh, never mind.
Politics is a field where you simply CANNOT get everything you want. Some compromise is needed - you work out the best deal you can. An unabashedly pro-American candidate who wants to strengthen our defenses, keep the character of our country as is by stopping illegals and removing as many as possible, and to protect American workers’ jobs isn’t too bad of a start.
Besides, Trump is beating Hillary in polls now, and he is just getting started.
