Mainstream media is still on the narrative that Trump will soon drop from the race (or out of contention) and that we will go back to our usual business of nominating a safe, non-offensive candidate for the GOP nomination.

Usually that GOP nominee will get crushed by the "younger, hipper" Democrat nominee but sometimes that that GOP nominee will squeak out the necessary 270 electoral vote if the Democrats put up somebody just as odious (Dukakis, Gore, Kerry, etc.).

Good golly miss molly, the so-called Dems have for “younger, hipper” possible nominees are let’s just say certain folks past the age of 60. Those are young, hip folks and I have a certain bridge in NYC that I can sell to you! :)
