Stephen Colbert’s first night on the Late Show proved he’s still every bit the left wing hack he was on Comedy Central. He spent almost six solid minutes bashing Donald Trump but not a single joke about Hillary Clinton’s email scandal or crazy Socialist Bernie Sanders.
In the course of his anti-Trump routine, he even put Donald Trump’s face on screen with an image of the KKK.
n he first show he plays the Trump-KKK comparison. Sad.
Like all good little liberals, Colbert fails to acknowledge that the KKK was created by Democrats.
Concha of Mediaite trashed the show in a review today:

All the hype is over. All the fanboys in the media gone. The first Late Show with Stephen Colbert is in the books. And the final grade is?
Incomplete.
For a show that had nine months to prepare for one big night, there was something wholly unsatisfying about Colbert’s debut from the Ed Sullivan theatre in New York last night. On the booking front, George Clooney is just OK, because when was the last time he did a movie that made him truly relevant, truly the biggest name Hollywood? Gravity (2013), maybe? And on the political front, the show should have found a way to book Donald Trump, but we got sleepy Jeb Bush instead.
The new Late Show is apparently going to be just like the old Late Show.
100% Left wing. Ratings be damned.
This a$$hole is the new century’s version of Max Headroom, frankly.
His ratings tanked the second night. I believe a lot of people weren’t familiar with him and tuned in the first night. They saw all they needed.
I hope he gets dumped. He may have one funny line every few shows but that’s just not enough to sustain an audience.
We already have Bill Maher. There is room for only so many of those types.
KKK?
That’s the best these people can do.
While their presidential choice is orchestrating a mass invasion from the Mideast, Mexico, Central America. Even Cuba, while donating Massive billions to Iran while they chant death to America, maybe even because they’re chanting death to America.
Wait ‘til the kids grow up and find out these people are all about killing babies in the womb.

Colbert is lame & highly over-rated IMO. If he weren’t poking fun at conservatives, no one would pay much attention to him.
There is no good TV on except for very specific format cable stations.
So he’s not really the new host of an existing show, replacing David Letterman.
Its more like just a continuation of his comedy central show, replacing the Late Show all together.

When talking about republicans, don’t talk facts... just say they are the KKK and the debate is over.
Right, the minute I see that figure on the screen I cannot get to the remote fast enough.

Colbert has always been a sleazy dude; never watched him.
Colbert is a lightweight. I have no interest in ever watching his show.
The Velcro suit was funny! All downhill after that!
Trumps response to it should be, or should have been:
“I’m offended - Colbert showed a picture of me with a bunch of Democrats.”
Someone put the hammer and sickle on the face of Colbert. Stupid Marxist. Everyone is a “racist” or a fascist to a Marxist, except their dear reader and uniparty comrades.
