Yes on ice it’s all about the tires.

I recommend Bridgestone Blizzaks.

The Larry Niven / Jerry Pournelle book “Fallen Angels” was pretty prescient.
Environmentalists take over, seeking energy usage reduction even as the ice advances.
They had it down to hatred of science fiction unless it was message fiction and the push to water down sciences so there are less works by white men.

I think the Greenies finally have a an argument that is fool proof. I men do nothing and we have an ice age, pretend to cut CO2 and we have cooling. Either way leads to the same place. Genius.

Really. Bridgestones are excellent tires. Second to the last time I had to drive in ice, my little Toy had Desert Duelers on it.
Heaven forbid this gets to be a habit, but I’ll remember this. Thanks!

Probably the only true thing they’ve said. According to a theory I learned long before Algore came along, if the polar ice caps melt, there will be so much water that in the polar regions and temperate regions, so much snow will fall in the winters that it won’t all melt in the spring and summer. Glaciers will form, and advance bringing on an ice age. Meanwhile the tropical zones will become deserts.

This is one theory of why there are advancing and retreating ice ages. Whether the global warming is caused by humans is where the only settled science is the political science.

My theory is that these fools are really going to find a way to cool off the planet due to fears of globull warming, and then they won’t be able to stop it, and we WILL have another ice age, and then 85% of the peoples will die and the Agenda 21 will be realized.

Sounds like the global governance crowd might just be preemptively countering this...

Earth heading for 'mini ice age' in just 15 years, scientists say
UPI ^ | Updated July 11, 2015 | Doug G. Ware

Solar scientists predict that the Earth will enter a "mini ice age" around 2030 due to decreased activity by the sun, which will bring with it frigid cold winters. The last time the Earth experienced a similar situation occurred between 1645 and 1715.

I mount a set of Blizzaks on my SUV in the winter. AWD, ABS, traction control, and stability control makes up for my old age deterioration of driving skills.

Back in the 70s when I lived in Cleveland we had studded snow tires. Those were pretty awesome too but shredded the pavement.

Look for a study to come out soon saying globull warming will cause koala and pandas to become extinct. We’re seeing an historic marketing effort.

I call this "Witch Hunt" logic.

To test somebody to see if they are a witch you try to get them to confess by dunking them to the point of drowning or piling stones on their chest. If the admit to being a witch you stop the trial. You immediately find them guilty of witchcraft and execute them. OTH If they don't confess you keep the trial going going until they die.

This is the same "logic" employed here.

Most of the people leading movements like this don't believe the crap themselves. Their goal is to get other people to believe it.
