Wasn’t an ice age the big concern before the ‘’Earth Day’’ movement started? I guess they’ve come full circle.

And of course the solution is????? Notice how EVERY climate change worshipper can pontificate what the problem is, but when asked what their solution is the same answer comes out of each ones mouth.. “You are a racist.”
Every conversation I have with my lib friends returns to global warming. They give me the same George Bush crap and its the republicans fault. Of course when I remind them that the republicans don’t control China or India they seem to think that is irrelevant. Of course I then have to remind them that global warming doesn’t stay still over one country and only impact women, children and every liberal victim group out there.
That leads to, “we need to be responsible for our actions.” That’s when I say, “you mean like how the government gives free abortions because women don’t know how not to get pregnant so it isn’t their fault?” That fight turns into why I hate women, despite my 26 year marriage to my wife who I love dearly.
But like squirrels I bring them back to their original topic. Then I lay the kicker on them, aside from the requisite, “how much will it cost to fix, what exactly will they do to fix it, and my favorite, “what happens if they overcompensate and throw the world into a global freeze, killing everything.”
So I give them my plan, tell them how much it will cost, what it will fix and every risk mitigation strategy. It will end global poverty and hunger to boot. And they then tell me I am an idiot and it won’t work.
Aside from all liberals killing themselves(I tell them this) my plan is simple. It is three pronged and no specifics here. Number 1 - Build desalination plants along Africa’s coast lines and run pipelines throughout the continent. This will bring fresh water everywhere, opening up new economies and ending hunger and poverty in Africa. The benefit of this (I love this part) is all the water taken in will prevent the world from becoming flooded.
Number 2) The millions of acres of crops that will be planted now that there is fresh water will suck up all that bad CO2 and oxygenate the planet.
Finally, The Sinai will be handed over to the Palestinians for them to have their own country. It will be built up as a global model to the world to show all of mankind how alternative energy can power the world. Nothing in the new country will run on fossil fuels with the exception of propane for vehicles. Every residence and business will be built only using solar or wind. Companies from around the world will collaborate on building up the country. Even Israel and Egypt will pitch in and build the Palestinians a big security fence to prevent outsiders from penetrating the new country.
Lastly, the UN will be moved to the new Palestine as a demonstration that it is truly a global organization representing the betterment of all mankind.
The look at me and say the Palestinians would never go for it. I then tell them that they should move there since that is the world they want. I then sit back and quietly drink my beer.
