Well, I’m a chick - probably more of an old hen - and a Texan too. Could not care less what people think of my face. Fiorina is very shallow in terms of competence which, when considering who we want running out country, is way more important to me.
I would like to be able to believe Fiorina's explanation of her tenure at HP. I do recall that the company was in bad shape when she arrived and is now still in business and doing well having gone through times that killed many of their contemporaries. I'm just not sure whether, as she says, her shaking up a moribund company so it could survive led to the board canning her, or they did so because she was incompetent and had to go. One of the men who fired her has pretty much backed her version of events.
There are a few hot button make or break issues for me including 2nd Amendment, PP funding, and the AGW Hoax for her to clarify her position. Bottom line, there are several months of examination coming and we'll see how she comes out and where she stands with Republican voters come next year. I know I can't vote for Jeb Bush and several of the others but I'm willing to listen to Carly.
