Brilliant idea, except for one little gigantic loophole. Criminals don’t buy their guns at gun store. They don’t buy their guns at gun shows, either. They buy their guns on the street, no paperwork, no fuss.

This plan, therefore, has nothing to do with keeping guns out of the hands of criminals. It’s part of the plan to seize guns in the hands of law abiding citizens. This has always been the goal.

I think you need to be able to prove you are a legal citizen of the US before you are allowed to vote in National elections. AND, AND - you should have to prove you are a legal resident of the state you are living in before you are allowed to vote in state, county, and local elections too.
