Our next vice president Ted Cruz was on Neil Cavuto's show today and had the answer as per our constitution:

Cruz said religious convictions should have no bearing on one’s fitness for the Oval Office. “You know, the Constitution specifies there shall be no religious test for public office and I am constitutionalist,”

I have always liked Ted. But his appearance on Cavuto today was disturbing.

“I am constitutionalist,”

His Constitutionalism must have deserted him when he voted for the Corker monstrosity.

I know that Sen. Cruz had already said the part that you bolded but did he now say the first part that you left unbolded? If so I don't agree with that at all.

The President, all Federal office-holders, the military, and all Federal officers (customs, INS, and all federal-level civil "servants") take an oath to defend the constitution. There are two reasons, BASED ON THE MOSLEM KORAN, that Moslems cannot serve in these.

1) ...swear an oath... Moslems are not compelled to tell the truth. Taquia is the purposeful lying for the purpose of promoting the supremacy of Islam. A Moslem's oath is a nullity.

2) ...defend the constitution... Specifically the equal protection clause (so revered by the liberals). Just like Supreme Court Justice Taney in Dred Scott ruling (black men have no rights that white men must acknowledge), the Koran states that non-Muslims have no rights that Muslims must acknowledge AND women have no rights that Muslim men must acknowledge.

Any presidential candidate that does not acknowledge this impediment to a Muslim as president is not reality-based. I will not vote for a fool!

I'm sorry, Grampa Dave, but I just listened to the entire Cavuto segment with Sen. Cruz and he never said that or anything like it.
