One of the men with the primary aggressor had an open tab at the bar and had left his debit card behind. Police have that person's name, but that still hasn't led to any arrests.

An armed white who’s set upon by a murderous mob of “unarmed” blacks has a terrible choice: 1) curl up in a fetal position and take it, hoping to survive with not too horrible injuries and a remaining life or 2) resist with lethal force, survive physically unhurt, but have terrorists destroy the rest of his life, as with George Zimmerman and Daren Wilson. My solution is to avoid all situations where I might come into adverse contact with young black males; indeed, to view them as murder and mayhem waiting to happen.
Nah, the Plaza isn't that bad. The Plaza Art Fair was this weekend and it attracts all kinds.

From the numerous stories I've read about these types of incidents over the last fifteen years or so (always blacks attacking outnumbered whites), curling up is not a very good option unless you're unarmed. The assailants deliberately go for the head and always succeed.
If a person has a gun, the best option is to first display the gun and threaten to shoot. I believe most of the scum would run at the sight of a gun. If they proceed forward, the would be victim should then start shooting. I'll bet the hyenas would definitely run after that.

I’m sure that being in a group helped, but some areas are simply too likely to be a danger than others. Still, it is your right to take chances. We’re all different, and a life lived too safely can be a prison to some.

Some thugs have debit/credit cards. There is no video of the incident that the cops could release to help identify the full range of attackers? Or perhaps that is slipping over into the evolving prohibitions of political correctness.
In any case, I don’t like it when any of my Army patriots are ganged up on...regardless of color. I’d like to see all the perps nailed with harsh sentences since this is clearly, IMHO, attempted murder.
I'm certainly not justifying the attack, and agree with you that when the suspects are arrested then they should be charged with the most severe offenses possible. I just don't like seeing people jumping to conclusions.
