On September 21 Americans for Responsible Solutions–the gun control group founded by Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly–tweeted numbers from the Center for American Progress Action Fund (CAP) claiming armed citizens in America have killed more people since 1989 than all wars since 1776 combined.
The tweet contains a meme which says, “The number of deaths from gun violence just since Reagan’s presidency is higher than the number of soldiers killed in combat in all of U.S. history.”

The number of gang and gang/police deaths is so great that it has significantly skewed our national mortality rate statistics...including life expectancy (age of death).
1. Why mention Ronald Reagan’s name?
2. They didn’t include the Civil War and other conflicts which comes to about 1.3 million soldiers killed.
3. I’m think the hundreds of thousands of poor souls who killed themselves during those years would have found another way to end it.
Ridiculous liars. But even if their claim were true, it would come nowhere close to addressing our right to keep and bear arms, nor justifying any infringement thereof. These folks need to read up on a little American history

Off the top of my head, 600,000 killed on both sides in the Civil War, 400,000 in WWII, 36,000 in Korea, 58,000 in Vietnam.
Of course, to this daffy duo not one of those armed citizens acted justifiably in using deadly force. Not a single one.

#3 don’t count if there was no firearm involved. Now, if the person that off’d themself AND owned/borrowed/touched/saw/read about/had a gun described to them anytime in their life, yeah, they’d count that as firearm related. It’s what they do.
So you think it’s irrelevant then? LOL! Of course it has no ‘bearing’ on the 2nd. But then, they know it and don’t care.
