In regards to the collective mental disorder and even insanity that is Islam, take nothing back. The entire “religion” is but a bastardized version of Christianity, with the Prophet Mohammed Ali playing the part of imitation Christ, and not content with merely providing wisdom by which men could live out lives dedicated to a benevolent and merciful God, virtually rewrote the New Testament in a single tome.
The Koran is filled with messages that the Supreme Deity is spiteful, and full of petty mean resentments, as though Allah and Mohammed Ali were one and the same. The Koran has two distinct parts, one part seeking supplication and attempts to ingratiate the followers of Mohammed with their more prosperous and more civilized neighbors, a task which was abruptly ended about 620. Angered and irate with Mohammed and his followers, largely because of the self-proclaimed righteousness and condemnation of their “loose” ways, the people of Mecca drove the small group of adherents to Islam out, and they fled to Medina, where there was an established mosque, after a failed attempt to assassinate Mohammed near the time of his departure. The writings in the Koran take a distinctly much darker turn, concerned mostly with Mohammed and his followers getting revenge on their persecutors, becoming the instruments of Allah to extract this revenge here on earth.
The rest, as they say, is history.
And certainly not a very pretty version.
