And native Spanish speakers I know have told me that the Venezuelan and Cuban accents are nearly indistinguishable.
So I am sure there’s a secret policeman on nearly every corner there.
Cuban agents are rampant there. Lot have defected to Colombia tho. Colombians and Venezuelans are virtually the same especially by the borders. People came and went like we do from state to state. Thats all over now.
Ive met many Venezuelans and a few Cubans that defected. Several Jews too. They had their property confiscated....sound familiar?
