Killer’s manifesto revealed; Trump, Carson ‏get backup on their mental health argument

Much to the chagrin of the liberal media, several Republican presidential contenders have been focused on the issue of mental health in the wake of Oregon’s mass shooting, and their argument just got a big boost.

Christopher Harper-Mercer, the 26-year-old gunman who killed nine people at Umpqua Community College before taking his own life, was suffering from mental health issues, according to his own mother.

Excerpts of the manifesto authored by the killer emerged Monday, suggesting mental health played a role.

Harper-Mercer had spared the life of a student to deliver an envelope containing a flash drive that is now in the possession of police. The student read portions of the manifesto to a reporter.

“I’ve been forced to align myself with these demons and become one of them,” the source said, reading the manifesto aloud. “At first, it was involuntary, but now I am aligned with them. I now serve. When I die I will become one of them.”

“My success in Hell is assured,” Harper-Mercer continued. “Other people think I’m crazy, but I’m not. I’m the sane one.”

Nut Control. Trump and Carson are right on target. I wish Cruz would step it up, and not be afraid to tell it like it is.

Therefore...the shooting is not classified as a mass shooting.

Interesting....

With ISIS crossing our southern border, Trump will be correct again.

It is a hot topic. To many voters would be locked up in institutions.

The gunman also complained about not having a girlfriend and being a virgin at the age of 26, in the writings he left behind.

You don't necessarily need a girlfriend to lose your virginity.

Not that I am recommending paying for sex...

Must be part of his beta male issues...

According to the culture liberals are pushing, it should be easy as buying a slice of pizza to hook up for night night stands...

With almost all of these horrific shootings, almost immediately after there is information that the person had at some point past or present been prescribed mind-warping "meds". Then that information disappears and the anti-gun lobby bends the misery to fit their agenda.

They're still using the unbearable pain of relatives of Newtown victims to promote their cause. That's a shame, because Newtown was a wonderful little town, but one in which a person could be isolated and angry enough to shoot school children. An inward look might have better served the community. (JMHO)

The pharmaceutical companies and medical professionals who advocate these poisons are immune. Why?? US citizens have a right to know if some of these meds have as a possible side effect a complete disconnect from reality.

The ultimate insult to victims was when Charleston shooting victims were pushed aside so the puppetmasters could use it as an excuse to remove the Confederate flag from memory. And no one in political office pushed back. Huh? I thought it was ISIS that was abolishing history so they could more easily affect the future.

Only Trump and Carson (and Christie?) are speaking out about this. Tells me all the rest know who there real sponsors are, and how little concern they have in actually solving the problem.

“Must be part of his beta male issues...”

I think this Beta Male issue is more than just a PART of the problem. It may just turn out to be THE problem and not just for Christopher Harper-Mercer

Yep. That is why the study’s methodology is important. You need to include intended mass-shootings, based on the shooter’s preparations, location, statements etc.

suggesting mental health played a role

Most of what he said sounds like fairly standard liberal dogma.

Liberals blame guns, not mental health.

“prescribed mind-warping “meds””

Being on the meds can be fine and sensible.
Few understand the he11 of missing a few doses.

For very attractive dudes, yes. I have friends that get hit on by attractive girls multiple times every evening.

Or they can use Tinder online. Sit home and have girls come to them 24/7

It’s mostly about looks

"Can be" isn't good enough if a side effect is removing people from an ability to handle reality, and leads to homicidal and suicidal behavior. Perhaps the solution to mental disorders lies elsewhere...cleaning up the violence in our culture, increased physical activity, more community ties and responsibilities, etc

These young men are referred to as “incels”. Involuntarily Celibate. They are certainly beta. The 80/20 rule is ruining their lives. 80% of the women are sleeping with 20% of the men (the alphas). Instead of doing the hard personal work to become “alpha”, they choose to shoot the place up.
I’m noticing the Occult aspect of this is being ignored. Seems some of these young men turn to nefarious powers to try and get what they want, getting only ruin in return.

Anyone who has ever dealt with a mental health issue in their family can tell you what the problem is.

Support Tim Murphy’s bill and TEAR DOWN THE DAMNED WALL OF HIPAA!!!

These people spend an hour, maybe two per week with their therapist. The other 166 their family is responsible for them. Yet the therapist is barred BY LAW from saying ANYTHING to the family about his observations (or vice-versa) because crazy people generally won’t sign a release.

A textbook example of Congress, who doesn’t know jack about anything, deciding that they are experts on EVERYTHING and then passing laws about it.
