I have been saying exactly that on FreeRepublic since I first signed up. People here seem to prefer to thing the GOPe is just dumb but I have felt since Reagan came up short on Department of Education that they were complicit. Not to mention that when we held both houses and the Presidency abortion never came up nor did many other Conservative issues. They have hid behind court decisions for most of my life.
