Should Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina win the Oval Office, she wouldn’t be making any calls to her counterpart in Russia.
“I wouldn’t speak to Vladmir Putin,” Fiorina said.
She would, however, rebuild a missile defense program in Poland and conduct military exercises in the Baltic States.
“I would guarantee you that after four or five or six months of that kind of behavior, Vladmir Putin will speak differently with the United States of America,” she said. “It’s how people behave. He’s a bully.”
Fiorina, the only woman seeking the GOP nomination, is the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard. She ran unsuccessfully for U.S. Senate in California in 2010, but she has never served in elected office. During an editorial board interview with the Monitor, the candidate outlined a hawkish stance on foreign policy, taking aim at Russia as well as China and Iran.
“Our actions need to start speaking for us for a while,” Fiorina said. “And what our actions need to convey loudly and clearly is, guess what? There’s strength and resolve on the other side. And Putin, if you continue, there will be consequences.”
Fiorina repeated her earlier call for a no-fly zone in Syria, saying she would be more aggressive in the Middle East than the current administration.
“We cannot roll over on this one,” she said.

She doesn’t have a clue and is just trying to appear tuff. But she sounds like a little girl saying how her dad is going to beat up your dad.

Just what we need, a shooting war with Russia over Syria. No strategy beyond “being tough”. So then what Carly? What does victory look like? Kill all the Russians, Iranians and Hezbollah and install the so called Free Syrian Army as government? Then stay and prop them up for how long? Go away Carly, you are a failure as a CEO and a failure as a politician and would be a failure as CIC.
But fighting wars...and the military...Trust Me...This is what I know best. I saw Patton and remember General Eisenhower from my 10th Grade history course.

I do see he’s called for us to stop looking for mythical moderate Muslims, and pretending that Shias and Sunnis are going to live peaceably together. That’s a big step forward from the last two administrations IMHO.

We (by “we” I mean our feckless leaders) can’t even do what it takes to keep Iraq more or less stable and ISIS-free. Our military isn’t even allowed to stop child rapists in Afghanistan. But we’ll get tough with Russia over Syria. Sure, Carly.
Right, Carly, let’s start WWIII to enforce no-fly zones so that ISIS and other terrorists have safe zones from which to further Obama’s goal of destroying Assad, thereby creating the hat trick of eliminating Hussein, Gaddafi, and Assad, thus opening up massive territories in the ME for Obama’s New Sharia Caliphate under ISIS control,uh,I mean Arab Spring.
