It's almost as if the phrase, "97% of scientists agree," has been poll-tested and approved by political advisors.

I'm curious about the term "scientist" in this context. No one is just a "scientist," as most researchers describe themselves within their given field of research; e.g., meteorology, climatology, geology, biology, etc. Plain old "scientist" is a very peculiar term, but those who use it must believe it resonates with people. Who, in their right minds, would not believe a scientist? What do the 3% of the pooled "scientists" who don't agree with the findings believe? Are they deniers? Based on what reasons don't they believe in man-made global warming?

I’m proud to be in the 3%, but then I’m only an engineer...

Look how many millions of Americans bought the ‘4 out of 5 Dentists agree’ and the shock and fear those red pills lit up the bacteria in your mouth when chewed up on TV.

The 97% hoax is from the Doran & Zimmerman “study” in 2008.

10,257 scientist were sent a online survey with 2 questions.

Only 3,146 responded.

All responses were anonymous and they were also able to identify the area of expertise.

Nearly 20% said main had NO significant influence on global temperatures.

More “Climate math” needed....

They reduced the original list of over 10,000 down to 79 self described “Climate scientist”. 77 of the 79 said the earth was warming, hence the 97%.

The statistic comes from a lame survey of less than 100 carefully selected alleged scientists. It’s totally bogus.
