This kind of thing is a big deal to me. I take full advantage of the endless roads across Nevada, and disappear for days at a time without seeing another human being. One of my yearly trips is to 4 wheel from the Utah border to the California border without touching pavement without using maps or gps, and some of those old roads over some of those mountains have not seen tires in decades and some barely exist anymore and some have ceased to exist. I consider it my job to keep the roads in existence. Other similar trips I do off pavement but not necessarily as extreme is the rural nevada pub crawl where I try to hit every super remote bar in the state
The enviro-nazis both inside and outside government keep pecking away at closing roads in all the Western states, us peasants shouldn’t have access according to those jerks.
