Sunday on MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton,” Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is appealing to “nativism,” and a “certain type of anger” in a “racist way.”

If by nativism he means patriotism and the belief that the US government should do what is best for the nation and not foreigners and international institutions and companies, I will say yes that appeals to me.

As for anger, well if you aren't at eleven on the anger scale you haven't been paying attention.

Racism? No. I think Americans of all races should be as patriotic and angry as I am.
