This wasn’t such a “smart thing” when HRH George III sent 700 Redcoats to “regulate” the Colonists’ guns and Ammunition at Lexington. They paid dearly for that miscalculation there and on the road home to Concord.
I doubt the opinion of one airhead is going to impact things much...
