It’s clear that the market is unlikely to solve the problem of climate change on its own. If scientists are right, and there is no reason to think they aren’t, averting climate change will require such large-scale, rapid action, that no single energy technology, new or emerging, could be the solution. Neither could any single non-energy technology, such as video-conferencing as a substitute for travel, solve the problem on its own.

WRONG! None of the results have been replicated, the early data was 'lost or destroyed', none of the projections have been right, and the 'scientists' are making a bundle of money pushing this rather political idea. And that's just for starters..
Climate change has been going on since our atmosphere was formed. The SCAM is man-made GW which has been debunked so many times, it is pathetic that some people are so ignorant and in such need of something negative to worry about, that they actually believe the SCAM.
And of course, the Rat perps just love it when these fools keep writing them checks to “save the world”. And the use of it to do more “social engineering” — after all, Obama says the SCAM is the biggest problem facing America.

The so-called "scientists" all have a vested interest, that is, are being paid to prove that man is causing global warming. They are paid lobbyists to get more money and find stuff to prove that mankind is no good.
Get rid of the lobbyists and hire real scientists to report on climate change.

Satellite data on the temperature of the Earth provide data that are far more comprehensive in terms of coverage of the entire surface of the Earth. Almost 20 years of satellite data show cooling or no change at all.

Yep. I predict that if we give the Rats free rein to do what they want, warming will never happen. I’m also willing to bet my life that if we DON’T give them what they want, it won’t happen, either.
Global Warming was seized upon by the ruling elites as the perfect way to keep the burgeoning middle class in it’s place and maintain separation of lifestyle. As technology advances, the middle class has more and more access to knowledge (all media), travel, good food, and pleasant living conditions. The rich find this very disturbing.
Note how the Atlantic author hits all the key points. The middle class needs to be deprived of things like air travel, suburban homes, automobiles. They want us to move into high density urban rat holes and only use public transportation. We need to rethink the “supply chain”, which means the middle class needs to cut back on consumer goods and tasty foods.
Meanwhile, the rich have no plans to change at all! Even reducing their air travel by using video conferencing is dismissed as absurd.
Finally, the middle class is to go onto permanent “wartime austerity footing” (remember WWII? - those were the good old days!). This will work best if the middle class surrenders its judgment and trusts the ruling elite and their appointed overseers.
People who read The Atlantic have total confidence in government and will believe anything the government-media complex wants them to.

It’s the final results of the Green Collar economy in Spain. Spain was the poster child of the “New Economy” because of the near ideal conditions for both wind & solar.
It was a complete disaster. It is the same path Obama is following in America.
Just last year, Spain was forced to eliminate all Fed in Tariffs (FITs). Currently, the unemployment rate in Spain is 25%.
