Given society's decline, such shows will eventually make Christians targets.

Since January of this year my TV has been on to see the Repub. Debates. That’s it. Don’t miss it. Love the quiet.

They’re trying to design a new form of attack on Christians:
The new weapons are aimed at drawing the interest of genuine Christians and undermining their faith.
The old weapons were aimed at pleasing secular people and non-Christians.

There was a time when TV shows touted the Bible as virtuous rather than covertly attacking it as CBS may be doing.

If their goal is to mock Christians, they must stick to the New Testament and the teachings of Jesus. I don’t think there’s that much to make fun of regarding “God is love” and the “Prince of Peace”.
If they ridicule the Old Testament, they would be mocking Jews.

The local CBS (Cr*p Broadcasting System)station was threatening to pull their broadcast from Dish a couple of weeks ago - I wish Dish would've told them to go ahead. I don't know how the networks have kept from going bankrupt financially since they have been morally bankrupt for years.
NBC = Nothing But Cr*p
ABC = Always Broadcasting Cr*p

"CBS developing sitcom based on obeying the Bible as literally as possible"
They should do the same of obama administration obeying the Constitution as literally as possible. I need a good laugh.
To: aimhigh
of course they’re looking to make fun of Christians, but there was a time when nearly every program on TV involved more or less living according to Biblical principles.

But then they’d have to read the Bible.

What the people at CBS, and others on the left, are too stupid to understand is that when everything goes to hell they’ll be caught up in it just like the rest of us.
To: aimhigh
I wouldn’t have a problem with them mocking Jeremiah Wright, or the Westboro “Baptist” “Church”.
To: aimhigh
My guess is, this is just part of the Left’s goal to criminalize Christianity in the near future.

CBS developing sitcom based on obeying the Bible as literally as possibleAs a good catholic, I consider those people nut jobs; as for the universe being 6000 years old, that was not the Vatican speaking ex cathedra; random bishops can be nut jobs too!
And if you think Wikipedia is the final word, things are worse that I thought.
To the point that, with a straight face it says that 99.9% of all serious scientists reject creationism.
A deliberate half truth that only zero everything voters would swallow without qualification.
