For me it boils down to the quality.

I go to Culver’s, Chic a fila, or Hardees before McDonalds.

I only go there if they are the only thing on my way. I rarely set out and say “I want McD’s!” The only exception is the breakfast menu.

The burgers suck, the fries are bad, the the chicken tastes like rubber. The price is great, but for a few bucks more I can get better food.

Exactly. Too many other options that are far better and worth a higher price tag.

The McNuggets have an antiseptic aftertaste. It’s the same everywhere. I think it is the oil.

My kids love chick fil a but I hate the food. Give me a big mac lol.

Thing is...Panera, Saladworks, Chipolte, Pancheros, etc. all have comparable food/prices. Those are the places people are buying from so McDs is suffering.
